On this site
This site sets one cookie only, the strictly necessary language choice described below, and runs no analytics or advertising tags. The payment page is run by Stripe, under Stripe’s own cookie policy.
Your basket is saved in your browser’s local storage under the name “fo-basket-v1”, so it is still there when you come back. It never leaves your device. You can clear it by emptying your basket or clearing your browser’s site data.
If you pick a language with the EN / FR switch, we remember it in a cookie named “fo_lang” (value “en” or “fr”, kept for one year), so you are not sent back to the other language. It is strictly necessary to show the language you asked for, holds nothing else and is never used for tracking. Without it, visitors in France see the French site and everyone else the English site.
